scotts family

Wow, so this is what blogging is like. Just thought I would try it. My family has left me alone this weekend to go to a ward youth conference at Zions Camp. Last weekend Debbie and Kiley were at the Little league state tournament, they got 4th place. Next week Tyler and Brett will be going on a 50 mile hike.
The reunion looks like fun. Elizabeth, you should bring your karaoke machine if you have 10 cd's. I think we only have 3-scott

Our Camping Trip

We went camping at Jubilee Lake and had a blast camping, hiking, boating, spending time together. We enjoyed some beautiful views, and had a wonderful time.

OH BOY!!

Melissa and Bryan are so excited to
announce "we are having a baby boy~!
The due date is November 15, 2007.
We are so thrilled. The doctor
said that he is right on track and that
everything looks great! It was so amazing
to see the ultrasound. It has made this
whole experience seem real."

Melissa & Bryan

Melissa sent me some pictures of her and Bryan and a little note about what they are up to, she wanted me to post on here! Thanks for posting Melissa! It's great to hear about what they are doing: They are in California, Bryan is doing an internship with an accounting firm and Melissa is taking an online course in Doctrine & Covenants. They will be going back to school in April and graduating a year from then. Melissa is also enjoying having some free time. She narrates the pictures: "Here is a picture of Bryan and I at the BYU football game. We loved going to the games last semester, even in the freezing cold weather! They played awesome this year! I also included a couple of pictures of Bryan and his brother. They built a garage in our back yard and it snowed 6 or 7 inches over night before they were able to get the roof on. So they had to shovel the snow off of the roof so they could put the shingles on. Bbbrrrr... it was so cold!"

Christmas at the Cheneys on the 27th

We had Christmas at our parents house on the 27th (because it was our year to go to the inlaws), and had Christmas dinner (with the Monson traditional clam chower--it was delicious!), opened gifts (our parents made us each a really neat 72-hour kit--a great gift idea!), had a talent show (with singing, clog dancing, violins, piano, etc). It was great. We are still planning on re-enacting the Nativity Scene--a tradition for us. It has been nice for us to visit with each other and share in the love! :)

If it doesn’t give you the option

Hey all y’all. I figured something out. If when you sign into blogger.com, it doesn’t give you the option to upgrade your account to beta.blogger.com, you can go to beta.blogger.com and create a new account, and then you will be able to post on the beta blogger blogs. You will be able to merge your accounts, and then be able to do both from one account. Contact Angela or I if you need an invitation to any of the new blogs. Sorry for all the confusion.

How is the family yeah so we have been tearing it up out here. the work is moving alone just great. my comp and i get along realy good, he is really funny, we have only been togather for 3 weeks now and we have a ton of inside jokes, so it has been funny we work realy hard. but it is not expedent that a man should run faster then he has strenth, the scripture does not say dont run only says not faster then strenth. it is like a race out here, only it is a long race so you have to pace yourself, or you get to tired have to stop, that is hard for me because i just want to run 5 bilion miles per hour. only problem is i have not built that endurance up to that point yet. but the lord has and can be at all places at all times. he is in and through all things everwhere at once answers prayers as fast as the speed of light. because he is a beaing of light. at are side when we look for him he is. i often think of jesus walking on the water, calling us out to walk with him. when we look at him are faith is strong, but when we look at the waves that we are doing somthing imposable {walking on water}, we start to fall, then he is right by us reaching out his hand all we have to do is grab the hand he will pull us up. we are teaching a man that seems to have everything going wrong for him, poor guy, needs a job, hes looking , we have felt really strong to promise that he will find work before bap date, if he would follow all comandments, he is totaly will all the big 4, so we had a strong impreshion to invite him to wright his wife that split when he had no work, {maybe if that is the real problem} any how he would not do it no matter what, this will be his test of faith, if he can over come this and trust in god then he will really start to progress. he is progressing he read the hole book of mormon in a week, but he says that he will not join unless he gets work. we have three familys now that we are working with, and three single men. the lord ha placed then all right infrount of us. i love you all. i mean that.wish i could tell you all everything but that is imposable, much love.elder monsonHis email addres is monsonmission@myldsmail.net Feel free to email him Love Glennis
